Church Council passed motions to re-open our Parlor and Fellowship Hall; with the understanding that all state laws and recommendations will be followed. Council has considered re-opening cautiously for the health and safety of all involved. The outside groups that previously held regular meetings in our building include AA, NA, and Al-Anon and Neighborhood Watch. Council also decided to open up the calendar to schedule member events and parties.
For both types of gatherings, a limit of 2 hours will be enforced.
The kitchen areas will remain closed. Bringing in refreshments is permitted; however, the kitchens are off-limits, including refrigerator and sinks. Groups who traditionally brew and serve coffee will be asked to refrain from doing so until further notice. Individuals are welcome to bring in their own.
Further guidelines include limits on the capacity of rooms. We are looking at 15% of seating capacity which limits the Parlor to 17 and the Fellowship Hall to 53. No re-arranging of tables or re-arranging of seating at tables will be permitted. Exceptions may be made for families living within the same household.
Masks that are worn over the nose, mouth, and chin will be required at all times. Six feet of distance will be maintained.
Each group will need to provide their own hand sanitizer and extra masks to attendees. Prior to meeting in Fellowship Hall, the fan to UV treat the air should be allowed to run for 1 hour before and until the meeting adjourns. Every group will be responsible for wiping down all tables and chairs with the supplies provided for them.
