We are excited to welcome everyone back!  Just in time to celebrate Father’s Day, Good Hope will re-open for in-person worship.  On June 21st, our sanctuary will be open for one service at 10 am with modified seating and other safety measures in place.

When you come to Good Hope, please enter through the carport doors only. Masks are available for you.  For the safety of others, you are required to wear one.  Use our hand sanitizing stations and try to maintain 6 feet between yourself and others.  Bring your own water; as fountains will be closed.

In our sanctuary, you will notice sections of open pews and sections of pews closed by blue tape.  Pew cushions as well as other frequently touched items have been removed.  As you are seated, please us know you are in worship by signing in online, through our website or with the QR code posted in the pews.

We will not offer Holy Communion during Sunday services this month.  There will be no bulletins.  We will also refrain from passing the offering plate and sharing the peace.  All who are seeking an opportunity to share in Holy Communion are encouraged to join us for Summer worship on Wednesdays.

If you have a condition that compromises your health, we love you and want you to keep you as safe as possible; so, please consider staying home and joining us online for worship.  If you are sick or have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19, we love you too.  As much as we want to see you in worship, please stay home until the danger of spreading the virus has passed.

Worship services will continue to be live-streamed.  The place to find our live stream services is on our website.  Go to goodhopeboardman.org and click on the “MEDIA” tab

Healing Service @ Worship Service
Jun 27 all-day
Healing Service @ Worship Service

In His ministry, Jesus performed many different acts of healing – forgiving sins, casting out demons, curing physical disease. At his command, his disciples continued a ministry of healing which included the laying on of hands and anointing with oil those who were ill.
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” (James 5:14-15) In the era of COVID, we are following guidelines to keep us all safe. We will continue to anoint with oil and lay on hands. To ensure the safety of each person who comes forward for healing, Pastor Bob and his helpers will be wearing masks and gloves. We have been advised that by using a new glove for each person, we will effectively stop the spread of germs from one person to the next.
A very important component of our healing services has always been prayer; and we know how powerful prayer is. Come to worship. God knows our hearts, our sickness, and all our needs. Come to ask for healing, and we will pray with you.
