We are excited to welcome everyone back!  Just in time to celebrate Father’s Day, Good Hope will re-open for in-person worship.  On June 21st, our sanctuary will be open for one service at 10 am with modified seating and other safety measures in place.

When you come to Good Hope, please enter through the carport doors only. Masks are available for you.  For the safety of others, you are required to wear one.  Use our hand sanitizing stations and try to maintain 6 feet between yourself and others.  Bring your own water; as fountains will be closed.

In our sanctuary, you will notice sections of open pews and sections of pews closed by blue tape.  Pew cushions as well as other frequently touched items have been removed.  As you are seated, please us know you are in worship by signing in online, through our website or with the QR code posted in the pews.

We will not offer Holy Communion during Sunday services this month.  There will be no bulletins.  We will also refrain from passing the offering plate and sharing the peace.  All who are seeking an opportunity to share in Holy Communion are encouraged to join us for Summer worship on Wednesdays.

If you have a condition that compromises your health, we love you and want you to keep you as safe as possible; so, please consider staying home and joining us online for worship.  If you are sick or have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19, we love you too.  As much as we want to see you in worship, please stay home until the danger of spreading the virus has passed.

Worship services will continue to be live-streamed.  The place to find our live stream services is on our website.  Go to goodhopeboardman.org and click on the “MEDIA” tab

Reformation Sunday

On Sunday, October 25th, the altar cloths will change from green to red.
The change signals that it is Reformation Sunday. We celebrate Reformation Sunday because it marks the day Martin Luther posted his objections to some of the practices of the church. His objections led the church to focus more on Grace, Faith, Christ, Scripture, and the Glory of God. We give thanks and celebrate that the Spirit continues to work in and through the church.
