Communion Wafer Pick Up

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ at Good Hope, God bless you as we journey together in these difficult days. Pick up your Communion Wafers for our communion service next Sunday, March 29th.  We will celebrate Holy Communion at the same time in our own homes. These wafers were consecrated at the altar last Sunday. Stop by the church today, Wednesday evening March 25th, from 4:30 – 6:00, and Thursday morning March 26th from 10:30 – noon, to pick up a baggie with enough wafers for Sunday and all of April. If you cannot come at either of those times, contact me and we can set up a time for you to stop by.  I will come out to your car and give the wafers to you.

We are being very careful to keep each step of the process sanitary.  On this coming Sunday, I will consecrate the elements that are on the altar during our live stream on our Facebook page. After praying together with the Lord’s Prayer, I will say, “Take and Eat – the body of Christ given for you”  It is at that time you will take a wafer from the baggie for each person that is at your table and we will receive the Lord’s body together, at the same time.

When you come for the wafer I will also pass out a Palm Cross.  The governor’s “stay at home order: continues through April 6th, so we know we can not gather that day. LifeStream Services and Devotions  Sunday worship will be live-streamed on Facebook at 10 AM  Wednesday service will be live-streamed on Facebook at 7 PM On the other days of the week, I will post a daily devotion using our Lenten devotional for this year.
All services and devotionals will be available on our web page, which has recently been redesigned, Click on the Worship dropdown menu and then choose “media”.
In His Love,
