In a normal month, our pantry services 10 households. In April, we served 43 households (176 individuals) – a four-fold increase. Of those households, 28 reported losing income due to COVID-19. On March 18th, our pantry became an open access pantry with hours M-Th from 10am-2pm, by appointment. Area residents are able to come in once per month for assistance.
We are blessed to have Nancy Oslin, the Wynn family, and Anika Jacobs working faithfully with our pantry. If your passion is to provide food for the hungry, please ask God if He may be calling you to this ministry. We are in need of a new coordinator to place orders and keep records.
