Missionaries: Davis Family Update

Big news… The Davis Family has been funded by Samaritan’s Purse to build a new hospital in Niger! They embarked on their new mission in mid August…
We left Ohio on Monday afternoon and arrived in Niamey, the capital of Niger, on Wednesday afternoon. We will spend two days in the capital doing orientation and some grocery shopping before we fly down to Galmi on Saturday. Our future colleagues in Niger have carefully planned out our arrival, and we are looking forward to getting there and meeting them.
Would you pray for a few specific things?
 Safe and uneventful travels with everything happening as scheduled
 Final goodbyes with friends and family
 That all of our suitcases arrive with us
 Energy and stamina – not quite yet up to pre-covid but very close
 The settling in and adjustment process
 The project- we are looking forward to getting started with construction
 Learning- we need to learn a new country and learn to work with new teammates
Once again, we are extremely grateful that you are willing to pray for our ministry! We will update you when we arrive in Niger and get settled in. We are really looking forward to sending you more information as we get into the project and get back to doing what God has called us to do.
In Christ,
Dale & Jody
