We celebrated our first day back for worship, within the church walls, on June 21st. The Covid-19 crisis has touched all of our lives. Until the 21st, our building had been closed for 13 weeks. This house of worship is finally ready to be filled again! Please note that our worship schedule has changed. We have one service at 10am with modified seating.
None of us know how long it will be until the threat of Covid-19 is gone. Will there be a time when masks and social distancing are not encouraged? We just don’t know. In the meantime, there are masks and hand sanitizing stations, even here at church. Coming back won’t feel natural for a while. Sadly, there won’t be handshakes or hugs. We will refrain from passing the peace, and the offering plate. For the time being, we won’t have communion on Sundays either. However, God is still among us and it is good for God’s people to gather.
Whether you worship on Sunday in our sanctuary, Wednesdays in the parking lot for our Causal Summer Drive-In services, or are in worship at home over the internet—we love you and love that you are with us.
All services will continue to be live-streamed. Please find them our website, click on the “MEDIA” tab.
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:23-25
