When Covid first struck in the spring of 2020, we wanted to encourage everyone by offering scripture promises which kept us focused on God and kept us connected to each other through scripture. Within a short time, we started to use the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday and I began a nightly Facebook Live devotion. Last year the nightly devotion was changed to Monday – Friday to go along with our plan to read through the NT one chapter a day, five days a week.
January’s newsletter did not have a list of daily devotions and their absence was noticed. I decided to use the daily devotions we have as Good Hope participates in the NALC Life-to-Life Discipleship experience. We are in Part Two of the manual and we have daily devotions which focus on a topic for two weeks. In February those topics are ―Priorities‖ and ―Family Life.‖
